Announcements

• On Monday, 2008-10-06, the VDT released the 1.10.1k and 1.8.1r updates.
  • 1.10.1k - Contains several security updates, as well as a number of other fixes.

  • 1.8.1k - Contains a security update to Condor (and Condor-Devel).

Packaging

The VDT team has focused our effort for the last few weeks on the latest lettered releases, so there are no major updates to the packaging situation. Tim Cartwright is exploring an idea to help improve Pacman updates. The areas we have identified for improvement include

• Performing special update instructions automatically for an admin.
• Making it easier to update across multiple lettered releases (e.g. 1.10.1d to 1.10.1k)
