  1. Status of VDT 1.1.9 Testing is proceeding, it will be released soon.
  2. Working to resolve version incompatibilities with "EDG/LCG" VDT Currently, EDG and LCG are getting a different version of Globus than other VDT users. We need to understand the differences and incompatibilities this may cause, and we hopefully would like to get to a single unified version.
  3. Collaboration with NMI on testing We are sharing the VDT test harness with NMI, and we'll be making some modifications so that it is more useful to both of us.
  4. RLS We had a long talk with Nosa Olamu, who currently has a Pacman cache with a complete RLS setup in it. We agreed how to get the RLS setup into the VDT in a reasonable way. Essentially, we need to install RLS and the database with a minimal setup that takes little or no extra space on top of the VDT installation, then we need to provide a configuration script for users that will use RLS "for real". Nosa will help modify his installation this way, Carey will give him assistance to make it work "the VDT way", and we'll add this to the VDT in the release after VDT 1.1.9.
