VDT 1.3.10 has been delayed, primarly due to two major issues. First, Alain has been spending almost all of his time working on the OSG proposal to DOE. Second, there was a security issue (which will be widely announced soon) that required immediate and careful attention. We hope to release VDT 1.3.10 in the middle of next week. We are getting very close, and the list of known bugs is getting small.
John Weigand has reported a number of problems with the way the VDT uses VOMS (primarily in the configure_voms script). We agreed that fixes for this can wait until VDT 1.3.11 because most, if not all, VOMS site administrators are likely to wait for a newer version of VOMS and VOMS admin to be released that fix a number of important bugs.
MonaLisa was updated to version 1.4.10 in order to deal with a potential security problem with Postgres, which is included in MonaLisa.
The hard working folks at Iowa have provided a new version of the information provider scripts and configuration script to fix a whole bunch of bugs. This will be in VDT 1.3.10.
Right now, configure_monalisa and configure_osg both prompt users for the same information. For VDT 1.3.11, the OSG folks will update configure_osg to ask more questions, and the VDT folks will modify configure_monalisa to query that information if it's available. configure_gip will also be updated to use the same information.
Leigh likes the idea of edg-mkgridmap constructing the grid3-vo-map file: we then have one place that does the work instead of two. We'll consider this for VDT 1.3.11.
There were lots of questions about the managed fork jobmanager. Instead of retyping here, people can look for more information about how it works in the VDT 1.3.10 documention.
