Virtual Data Toolkit version 0.5 Downloads

Version 0.5 of the Virtual Data Toolkit (VDT) is a preliminary list of software that we expect will be in VDT version 1.0.

Note that the software is divided into three categories: Server, Client, and Developer. If you want to run any management software, you will need to install the VDT Server. This includes, for example, Globus software for controlling access to machines (the gatekeeper), Condor software for controlling a pool of machines, etc. If you merely want to access Griphyn resources, the Client software is sufficient.

All of the software is known to run on Red Hat Linux 6.2, Red Hat Linux 7.1, and Solaris 2.6 and 2.7

Expect new versions of the VDT that make it easier to install all of the software.
