configure_mds - Configuration script for MDS

Synopsis

 configure_mds --server <y,n>
               --secure
               --vdt-install <VDT installation root>

Description

--server <y,n>

For y, prepare MDS 2L to be installed and started by vdt-control. For n, describe MDS 2 for use by vdt-control, but do not enable.

--secure

Turns off unauthenticated access to the GRIS.

--vdt-install <VDT installation root>

configure_mds will look for the root of the VDT installation at $VDT_LOCATION. If you do not have that set you can specify it with --vdt-install instead.
