configure_rft - Globus RFT configuration script

Synopsis

    configure_rft [--vdt-install <VDT installation root>]
                  [--help || --usage]

Description

--vdt-install <VDT installation root>

Specify the directory in which the VDT is installed. Optional if $VDT_LOCATION is set in your environment.

--help, --usage

Output usage information.

The following actions are performed to configure RFT:

If it does not exist, the RFT database is created in MySQL.

Globus is told to use MySQL for the RFT database.

The ownership and permissions of certain RFT configuration files and directories are corrected for security, as needed.
