In the process of normal installation of VDT, the user is asked several questions, for example:
In VDT 1.2.4 any one or more of the VDT installation questions can be answered pre-emptively by setting appropriate environment variables beforehand. This allows a fully automatic installation without user intervention. This can be done in one of two ways:
