VDT 1.3.5 Release
We are pleased to announce the release of VDT 1.3.5.
New Features
- VOMS, GUMS and jClarens will run as the daemon user instead of root.
- configure_drm now supports a --user flag to let you change the use DRM runs under.
- GUMS can now run on the same Apache server as VOMS and jClarens.
- The Apache web server included in the VDT can now do
authentication on GSI proxy certificates, thanks to a patch from the
SAMD
project. This is needed for GUMS to work correctly.
- If system administrators want to create local edits to the
setup.{sh, csh} files, they can now edit
$VDT_LOCATION/vdt/etc/vdt-local-setup*.
Bug Fixes
- The Globus-New-GridFTP-Server install will start up the server.
Upgraded Software
- PRIMA has been upgraded to 0.2
- MonaLisa has been upgraded to 1.2.32
- The PPDG certificate scripts have been upgraded to
1.6
