CAs in the VDT

CA Updates

The VDT CA certificate package is updated asynchronously with respect to the rest of the VDT. That is, we release new versions of the CA certificates separately from new versions of the VDT version: when you install the VDT, you always gets the most recent version, and you can update to newer versions of the certificates easily.

To see what version you have installed, run the command: 

> vdt-version | grep Certificates
    CA Certificates v11 (includes IGTF 1.0 CAs)
(You may get slightly different output depending on the version.) If you want to upgrade to the current version you can do so with: 
> pacman -update CA-Certificates

The latest CA release is version 52.
