configure_globus_ws

configure_globus_ws - Basic configuration for Globus web services

Synopsis

    configure_globus_ws
                         --vdt-install <VDT installation root>
                         --permissions-only
                         --fix-condor-setup

Description

--vdt-install <VDT installation root>
configure_globus_ws will look for the root of the VDT installation at $VDT_LOCATION. If you do not have that set you can specify it with --vdt-install instead.
--permissions-only
When --permissions-only is given, the script will attempt to fix ownership and permissions of all Globus WS files it knows about. If the script is unable to do so, it will fail silently.
--fix-condor-setup
When --fix-condor-setup is given, the script will attempt to fix a problem in a Globus WS file that prevents it from finding the VDT-installed Condor.
--help, --usage
Print a usage message.

The following actions are performed to set up Globus Web Services

A user is chosen. If you install as root, user 'globus' will be chosen if it exists, otherwise user 'daemon' will be chosen. If you install as non-root, that user will be chosen.
