Bug Fixes Since 1.8.0

Fixed a serious bug that could prevent the Condor grid monitor from working (VDT ticket 2922)
Substantially improved the handling of pacman updates to VDT components that install web applications (e.g., GUMS, VOMS, VOMRS) (VDT tickets 2938, 2960)
The VOMRS installation no longer fails when installing as non-root, though you still need to be root to configure it (VDT ticket 2902)
The program that updates CA certificates automatically (vdt-update-certs) had a bunch of under-the-hood improvements (VDT tickets 2851, 2874, 2900)
Fixed a problem with edg-mkgridmap. If this script is enabled, it checks to make sure that PRIMA is not in use. If PRIMA is in use, it will not create a grid-mapfile. However, this check failed on 64-bit platforms (VDT ticket 2940)

Gabriele Garzoglio provided an update to the Generic Information Provider probe for GUMS so that it uses an HTTP service certificate instead of an LDAP service certificate. It also works correctly when GUMS is not in use. If the probes are installed, this probe will now run by default. (VDT ticket 2919)
In the past, we had regular requests for support when the PyGlobus installation failed. We have made it more resistant to failure. (VDT ticket 2876)
