For VDT support, email vdt-support@opensciencegrid.org This generates support tickets which we will answer on a best-effort basis. We have some information about how we handle these tickets.

VDT Discussion List

There is a discussion mailing list for VDT users. This is a low volume mailing list that serves two important uses:

Announcements about new versions the VDT or updates to existing versions are sent to this mailing list.
Users can have discussions with each other and the developers of the VDT.

Please not that it is not our support email: see above for that. Instructions for using the mail list are below, but if you ever have problems, do not hesitate to email vdt-support (see above), and we can subscribe or unsubscribe you.

Also note that to protect the list from spam, this is a closed mailing list: you must be subscribed to post.

Subscribing to vdt-discuss

Send an email message to listserv@fnal.gov.
Leave the subject line blank
Type the following in the body of your email, substituting your name.
```
subscribe vdt-discuss YourFirstName YourLastName
```
You'll get back an email asking you to confirm that you want to subscribe. There will be a link in the email: visit that link, and you'll confirm your subscription.
